16 Days of Activism is an annual and international campaign to challenge violence against women and girl in all across the countries. The campaign runs every year from 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December, Human Rights Day. It was initiated in 1991 by the first Women’s Global Leadership Institute, held by the Center for Women’s Global Leadership (CWGL) at Rutgers University.
Afghan Women Skills Development Center (AWSDC) Each year takes part in this annual campaign to combat on violence upon women through Medias, Publications, BANNERS, Conference, and Street Walk.
In 2018 AWSDC marked their campaign on gender based violence but this year (2019) AWSDC marks their campaign against Rape and sexual harassment. 5 days more remains to start officially our campaign follow our page and be one voice with us to combat against rape and sexual harassment in Afghanistan.
