Partnership with other civil society organisations (CSOs) has always been important to AWSDC in order to maximise its scope and raise collective capacity. AWSDC is an active member of the Afghan Women’s Network (AWN), Frontline Defender and Amnesty International and has also been an implementing partner of Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) since 2001, UN Women since 2003, State department, FCO, Canadian Embassy and other international organization.

The Afghan Women’s Network is a non-governmental organization which was created in 1996 by Afghan women following the World Conference on Women in Beijing and works to “empower women and ensure their equal participation in Afghan society.
